How do I view engagement survey results for an account?
Once a survey has closed or been completed, you can view the overall results. For each survey, you can view the results summary, factor report, teams report, and comments.
Note: Some features may be restricted based on permissions for your user role.
Open Author Menu
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Application Switcher icon . Then, click the Author menu option .
Note: The Global Navigation menu may differ depending on what is enabled in your account.
In the Author menu, click the Surveys link.
In the Recent Surveys drop-down menu , click the name of a survey . The ten most recent surveys are displayed in the drop-down menu.
View Overall Survey Results
View the survey results including the overall score , participation rate , high/low factor scores , and comment analysis .
To view more in-depth results, including the results summary, factor report, teams report, and individual comments, click the Dig Deeper button .
View Results Summary
In the Summary tab , you can view the overall results of the survey. The overall score is the average of all the Likert questions . The participation rate is the average of users who have completed the survey . You can view the number of comments .
You can view the company engagement by factor . To review the factors, click the Review Factors button . The highest and lowest factors are based on the average score by factor.
The bubble chart displays the factors with the most associated comments . Depending on how employees comment, comments are displayed in a chart by popular terms and topics organized as positive, neutral, and negative sentiments . To view comments, click the Review Comments button .
View Factor Report
In the Factors tab , you can view the company engagement by factor.
The Company engagement by factor graph displays the previous and current scores of the survey .
View the results for the factor . You can view the company score . To change the displayed scores, click the Likert Scores by drop-down menu and select an option . These options can include department, location, manager, and title.
To change the factor, click the Arrow icon .
View Factor vs. Factor Graph
The Factor vs. Factor graph displays the correlations of the effects of the factor across different products and data .
To view the score distribution for a question, click the name of the question .
Add Data Source
In the Add Data Source tab, you can add an external set of data to compare to your employees' engagement survey results . To upload the external data CSV, drag and drop a CSV file into the upload area or click the Or choose a file link .
- The first column of the CSV file must contain the numerical User IDs of your employees.
- Do not include headers in the CSV file.
- The second column of the CSV file must contain numerical data.
- To use true/false data the second column of the CSV, convert true to 1 and false to 0.
View External Data
The external data displays in a new tab as a circle graph  and a table . The tab will share the name of the uploaded CSV file . To see how the external data compares to additional survey factors, click the Arrow icon .
- The content you upload in the External Data tab is temporary and will disappear when you navigate away from the Survey Results summary.
- To view these results, at least five users in the uploaded external data set need to have responded to the survey being viewed.
View Question Detail
The question details display the total responses, percent answered, and did not answer .
You can view the company score . To change the displayed scores, click the Likert Scores by drop-down menu and select an option . These options can include department, location, manager, and title.
You can view additional comments on the question .
To change the question, click the arrow icon .
View Teams Report
In the Teams tab, you can view the survey results by manager or group .
You can view the number of teams  and participation rate .

By default, results are displayed by manager . You can display results by group .
The graph compares the team and company's engagement scores to provide better coaching for managers .
The table displays the manager’s name, team score, department, and the number of respondents . To search for a specific manager, enter the name of a manager in the Search field

To view survey results by group, click the Show Results by Group button .
The heatmap displays patterns across teams . To change the displayed scores, click the Factor Score by drop-down menu, and select a factor option . Options include department, location, manager, and title. The colors in the heatmap display positive or negative sentiment .
In the Comments tab, you can view the survey comments.
View Sentiment Analysis
The Sentiment Analysis graph displays the frequent and infrequent negative comments  and frequent and infrequent and positive comments .
Each factor in the survey is represented by a dot. To view the factor name, hover over the dot .
To view comments with room to improve, click the room to improve button .
To view comments that describe areas that went well, click the went well button .
View Standout Topics
The Standout Topics graph displays groups of common topics and themes within the negative, neutral, or positive sentiments.
To display a certain sentiment, click the negative, neutral, or positive button .
To view a common topic name and how many mentions it has in the comments, hover over the dot .
View Individual Comments
The Individual Comments section displays the comments on the survey. In the Search field , enter a term to search for in the comments.
You can respond to all comments in your organization . Any replies received to those responses are still anonymous, but they allow you to begin a dialog about a comment, if necessary.
To export the comments as a CSV file, click the Export to CSV link . To filter comments, click the Filter by menu . You can filter the comments by factor, sentiment, and conversations. To hide the questions, click the Hide questions link .
