Create a Tracker from an SIS Section

If MasteryConnect is already integrated with your district's Student Information System (SIS), you can add class lists to your tracker directly from the SIS.

If you previously added students to a tracker either manually or through a CSV file, you can connect those students to the Student Information System after your school or district has integrated with MasteryConnect. Scroll to the next step by step to learn how to edit and connect your tracker.

Add Students to Your Trackers from an SIS

Click on Trackers and then click on Add Tracker.

Import SIS List

In the Add Students section, select Import Students from SIS. Then select your class from the list provided.

If your SIS section does not appear, contact your district SIS administrator.  

The SIS automatically updates class rosters from the district level. When you create your Tracker from an SIS section, your class roster will be updated automatically as changes happen in your SIS.   

Connect a Tracker to an SIS Section

Click on Trackers, then find the tracker you want to connect; click on Edit under the tracker name.

Select Class

Select your class from the Link to Classroom drop-down menu, and click on Update.

Troubleshoot Errors

Make sure the number of students in your tracker matches the number in the classroom you are linking to. If you receive any errors in matching the students, you'll see the following message.

Click on View Trackers to verify all your students and student numbers in the SIS section. Click on Edit next to the student's name to edit any student numbers, or click on the Trash icon to remove a student. Once you've made the adjustments to your tracker, repeat the steps above.

Once your tracker has been successfully linked to a section, you will see the section listed under the tracker name.

If your SIS section does not appear, contact your district SIS administrator.
