Adding Media

While authoring an item, you can add an image, audio file, or video file. Learn more about managing resources in ItemLogic.

To upload an image to an item stem, click the Image tab [1] and click the Upload Image button [2].

Select the image file on your computer [1]. Then click the Open button [2].

The image displays in the item image field. It is also added to your resources.

You can also add an image from your resources. In the Image tab, click the Browse Resources button.

In your resources, select the resource to insert [1].  Then click the Select Resources button [2].

To add inline media, click the Text tab [1]. Then click the Text Editor link [2].

Locate and select a media file among your resources.

To upload a file and insert it, click the Upload button .  

Add Image Placeholder

If you are authoring an item, but a media resource is not available, you can add an image placeholder. When the image is available in your resources, you can insert the image.  

To insert an image placeholder, click the Image tab [1] and click the Insert Image Placeholder button [2].

Enter a description for the image [1] and click the Submit button [2].

View the image placeholder in the item.

Open Resources

Open Resources

When the image is available, click on the Image Placeholder link.

View your resources and select an image [1]. Then click the Select Resources button [2].

View the image in place of the placeholder.
