As a Videri admin, you can configure key performance indicators (KPIs) for your account. A KPI is a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively your institution achieves key performance objectives.
You can identify key metrics from across your data sources, then define performance parameters and objectives. Once configured, your KPIs display as color bands in any applicable Videri visual. These KPI visuals allow your users to easily interpret data-driven performance measures. Additionally, you can apply KPIs to multiple levels (e.g. grade level, institution type, subject area, etc.) to evaluate performance objective success.
Videri supports multiple ways of working with KPIs to support your organizational objectives.
You can configure performance parameters and objectives for any data set supplied by your data sources using Metric and Matrix KPIs, and you can define progress toward a specific objective using Visual Indicators.
You also can define performance parameters and objectives for any assessment source associated with your Videri account. You can configure performance levels for various assessment reporting methods using Assessment Scores. You can define assessment performance success using Assessment Performance Levels.
Metric KPIs allow you to define and configure performance parameters for a specific metric. For example, you can create performance indicators related to student absenteeism that, when viewed in a chart or on a dashboard, quickly indicate absentee rates for the specified course, school, institution, or group.

Matrix KPIs allow you to define and configure a comparison between two Metric KPIs. For example, you can create a matrix KPI that displays chronic absentee rates filtered by average daily attendance rates by school. When viewed in a chart or on a dashboard, you can quickly view school attendance success.

Assessment Performance Levels
Assessment Performance Levels allow you to define and configure assessment performance success indicators. For example, you can create assessment perfomance levels for Advanced Placement exams. When exam score data syncs with Videri, you can view student performance rates to determine the success of an AP course offering.

Assessment Scores allow you to normalize the incredible variety of assessment reporting methods to a comprehensive view of student performance and success. You can map any type of assessment score, including non-numeric scores, to a custom performance level, expanding your Metri KPI options. Additionally, you can customize Assessment Scores by school year and grade level.
Once configured in your account, existing dashboards and watchlists automatically support and display the Assessment Scores performance level KPIs.

Visual Indicators allow you to define and configure progress toward goal achievement. Visual indicators can overlay charts with color bands to more succinctly communicate progress. For example, you can create a visual indicator for the Student Indicator metric with three value ranges, each with a unique color assignment. When a chart is created using this metric, the ranges display in the chart behind the data.
